When we say membership, we aren't talking about legal "membership" in a Corporation, or the sort of membership you might get at a gym or a club. The term can often be associated with buying into exclusive rewards or access, but here at the Rabbit Room we want to approach our work and community with a different spirit. 

Rabbit Room membership is about coming together as a community in common belonging and purpose. It's made up of those who feel called to this mission and people, who recognize that they have a place here and want to share in the responsibility for the well-being of the work. With a gift of $25 monthly or $300 annually, members take a tangible part in cultivating beauty and nourishing creators through the Rabbit Room's work. Members can:

  • Receive updates and advance notice on Rabbit Room works, events, and dreams to come
  • Connect with staff and other members during member activities and gatherings
  • Give input or volunteer on in-progress projects
  • Represent and promote the Rabbit Room values and mission
  • Receive our gratitude for being part of this work and community, with gifts like the handmade Rabbit Room member mug and Hutchmoot Audio Archives

Since the Rabbit Room is a 501c3 organization, our member's donations are tax deductible, minus the value of membership gifts. Anyone who wants the full tax-deductible value for membership donations must opt out of gifts, and membership can be canceled or paused at any time.

IMPORTANT NOTES: The value of your membership package and any quarterly thank-you gifts must be deducted from the tax-deductible portion of your donation, as per IRS law. For clarity sake, membership does not confer any legal rights of membership as defined under the Tennessee Nonprofit Corporation Act.
